Merging Units Resets Cooldown?

Good morning.

In our game today, where we have many dragons gradually working down the stack of 42 giants helpfully created for us by a Necromancer Lord, we noticed something we didn’t expect.

We could have each dragon breathe individually, and then immediately afterwards combine two of them into a single unit, and then breathe again.

Is this intended? Doing it feels like exploiting a bug.

I noticed the same thing a while ago. Many a village has been saved by being able to reset spell cooldowns by merging units. But I am also curious if it’s a bug or something they added intentionally. Honestly I’m hoping it’s the latter

It was originally a bug, but the creators decided they liked it, so it’s now an official part of the game. Exploit to your heart’s content! :grin:
