Question about Dredging

This happened in game: I have 2 ships attacking an opponent’s 1 ship and one of the two attacking ships (the weaker) has a dredger. I killed the opponents ship, but received nothing. So, my question is, in multiple ship combats like that one do all abilities occur simultaneously? Or, did my stronger ship kill the opponent’s ship before my weaker ship could dredge it.

I’ve just done some work to rework how this all plays out, which I just posted in a new thread.

Although there is still the situation where a ship can be sunk before all ships have attacked it. The attacks occur in random order.

We might need to change this if we want the attacks to be truly simultaneous, which probably makes the most sense.
