Active player can't access game

Can’t quite explain this, but I’ve got one person who says they joined the office game we started today. We’ve checked and their alias does appear in the in-game player list, they’ve got stars on the map, everything you’d expect.

Except now it’s started, when they log in and click ‘My Games’, it says ‘you are not in any active games’? And using the direct game link tells them that it’s full.

I’m not quite sure what to suggest. The game seems to be working fine for everyone else, so not worth restarting or anything. But it looks like this player joined the game successfully, so I can’t work out why they now can’t seem to access it. Any thoughts?
