I’m not the biggest fan of Facebook, but as a bit of an experiment we have set up an open Facebook group with the idea that we might get more people involved in the discussion. Some People find facebook a lot easier than these forums.

I think a link in an obvious spot on the Facebook group might be in order, linking to the bug report thread. I just feel like it might be easier to keep track of if everyone were actually reporting bugs in the same place.
Obviously that’s total fantasy, but hey, I can dream!
