I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned this before, but it would be great if there was an option when you create a circular galaxy to have juicy star(s) created in the center.
Depending on the size of the game (and how it is laid out), there can often be a “hole” in the middle … so game play ends up just being around the loop. But if there was a big fat juicy star right in the middle of the galaxy, that would not only provide a path, but be worth fighting over - perhaps the mythical Resource 60 star?!? 
Taking it one step further would be putting a single or twin-ring cluster of stars there - this would be great for large circular galaxies.
