You should not be able to merge Heroes, only Armies - Feedback

I would not like seeing Dark Forest Witches not be mergable anymore (although the reasons for it, I admit, may outweigh what I like). I especially would not like to see it “just happen” as part of this change to simply make units that don’t have scalable powers unmergable.

Jay would have to clarify, but I think what he’s saying, is that if a Hero currently has a X factor in it, it’s going to become a unit instead. So Dark Forest Witches (DFWs) might become like a 3 * 20 with a special that does X * 20 Damage where X is the number of DFWs in the unit.

The plan currently is to simplify a lot of power descriptions so we don’t have to have the X factor.

I was thinking the Witches would not be mergeable so that the power can just say, All Immortals in a 2 league area suffer a strength 50 attack. You earn 1 Mana for each zombie destroyed.

In theory, having two witches standing next to each other firing at the same time is the same as two merged witches. Two strength 50 attacks vs one Strength 100 Attack.

This is true, but I do frequently stack these, simply because a 100 or 200 attack has a far smaller chance of dealing 0 casualties.

Jay could you explain how gaining Valour works with the dark witch?
In most fights you get 1 Val per 100 Str of zombies killed.
If for example you killed 1 zombie(say at 50str)each in 6 separate groups would you get 0 or 3 valour?

DFW adds all the kills together best I can tell; i.e. 3.

Yeah I think, after all the effects of the power is done, I go through each unit and look at how many zombies were killed. Then work out the valour reward.
