Since a few days ago, the AI has started to give away a lot of resources. I first thought it might be a strategy to befriend players, but it seems indiscriminate, and continues even though I didn’t send anything back to AIs. Is this intentional or a bug?
Thanks @ruisselet, it’s still a work in progress. The next release will have it expect you to reciprocate, similar to Neptune’s Pride.
I’d honestly like to see some sort of mechanic similar to say, Civilization, where you submit a trade proposal with what you’d give and what you’d expect. That way nothing goes through unless both parties accept rather than the blind trust that’s required at the moment.
The current system forces you to caution and building up trust, which is also interesting
