Currently only 1st, 2nd & 3rd place players earn rank.
I was reading an earlier thread :
My feature request might motivate players to stay and continue fighting in the game, thus reduce AFKs or QUITs near the end stages of the game.
These are related by powers of 2.
In 64 - 127 player games, rank should be awarded to the top 6 players. 2 ^ 6 = 64
In 32 - 63 player games, rank should be awarded to the top 5 players. 2 ^ 5 = 32
In 16 - 31 player games, rank should be awarded to the top 4 players. 2 ^ 4 = 16
In 8 - 15 player games, rank should be awarded to the top 3 players. 2 ^ 3 = 8
In 4 - 7 player games, rank should be awarded to the top 2 players. 2 ^ 2 = 4
In 2 - 3 player games, rank should be awarded to the top 1 player. 2 ^ 1 = 2
or else maybe keep the top 3 rank awards for all games with 15 or less players ?
As usual, non-AFK players earn 1 rank.
