When creating a password protected game, the creator can be seen in the settings page. Is there a particular reason for that? I don’t mind much in the current case, but of course it counters the quest for anonymity…

So you mean “anonymity for creator in extra anon games”?
I totally concur.
Also, the creator has to join as the first person, so if you say, “I created this game, please join,” you give away your identity to the second person to join and narrow it down for the players beyond that.
