Do Gryphons “Avoiding The enemy” still burn bodies?

Nope. You need to engage the enemy.

I toggle Gryphons to burn thousands of bodies. If you set them to avoid, fly them over a camp with hundreds of dead bodies, you can wait until all zombies leave, even if they are 10 minutes away, turn on Engage and burn the bodies.
