A bunch of friends and I have become addicted to this game. We love that by default games are long term affairs, but more than once now we’ve wished we could sit down together and play one super fast game where an entire game could be played out in an hour or two. Everything would have to be much faster and I assume this hasn’t been done in part because it would be more resource demanding on the server. Has this ever even been considered?

Just do a turn-based game … once everyone submits, it advances.

I admit I really don’t like the turn-based movement, though. It feels very choppy and inorganic. An ability to speed up the real times would be interesting… though I’ve come to appreciate the slower games of late. . . still couldn’t hurt!
