If you don’t click “Submit Turn” but have issued some orders are those orders still processed when the next turn is forced?
yes, all submit turn does is record that you are ready for the turn. If all players submit, the turn will be forced early. Conversely, even if you submit turn, you can change your orders up until the last player submits, or the clock runs out

Oh, I’m always changing my orders after I submit. Hehe. Thanks though, that’s what I assumed.
